L’Azienda Agricola Mastrangelo opera in una masseria di proprietà della stessa famiglia, denominata “Il casino”, risalente al XVIII secolo, in un’area di circa 100 ettari situata a Bernalda in provincia di Matera. L’azienda si sviluppa su un promontorio rivolto a sud-est con una suggestiva vista del golfo di Taranto, proseguendo lungo i versanti nord-occidentali su cui si estendono frutteti e uliveti ultra centenari.
Testimone ed erede di un’attività di famiglia dalla lunga tradizione, Giuseppe Mastrangelo sceglie di investire in una agricoltura sostenibile e, già produttore di olio extravergine di oliva di ottima qualità, nel 2006 decide di rigenerare l’originario e antico vigneto che dopo due anni dà i suoi primi frutti per arrivare alla prima vinificazione nel 2014. È la nascita del Margherì, vino ottenuto da uve di Greco in purezza.
Il vigneto produce uve biologiche coltivate senza l’aiuto di sostanze chimiche di sintesi, la terra viene lavorata con tecniche che rispettano i cicli di vita naturali. In cantina si esegue la vinificazione utilizzando solo i prodotti enologici e i processi autorizzati dal regolamento europeo.
Il Margherì, primo vino delle Cantine Mastrangelo, nasce con il supporto del PIF (Progetti Integrati di Filiera) Vini di Lucania, dalle pregiate uve di tipo “Greco Matera DOC” certificate dal Consorzio di Tutela Vini Matera DOC. Dal colore giallo paglierino con riflessi dorati e dalle intense e complesse note aromatiche floreali e fruttate, il Margherì è un vino ricco ed equilibrato al palato che evoca piacevoli e armoniche sensazioni di sapidità e freschezza.
The Azienda Agricola Mastrangelo operates in a farm owned by the same family, called “Il casino”, dating back to the 18th century, in an area ofabout 100 hectares located in Bernalda in the province of Matera. The company is situated on a promontory facing south-east with a suggestive view of the Gulf of Taranto, continuing along the north-western slopes on which ultra-centenary orchards and olive groves extend.
Witness and heir of a family business with a long tradition, Giuseppe Mastrangelo chooses to invest in sustainable agriculture and, already a producer of excellent quality extra virgin olive oil, in 2006 he decided to regenerate the original and ancient vineyard which after two years gives its first fruits to reach the first vinification in 2014. It was the birth of Margherì, a wine obtained from 100% Greco grapes.
The vineyard produces organic grapes grown without synthetic chemicals; the land is worked with techniques that respect natural life cycles. Winemaking is carried out in the cellar using only the oenological products and processes authorized by the European regulation.
Part of the TDI Gold Collection, Margherì, the first wine of the Mastrangelo Cellars, was born with the support of PIF (Integrated Supply Chain Projects) Lucania Wines, from the precious “Greco Matera DOC” grapes certified by the Matera DOC Wine Protection Consortium.
Straw yellow in color with golden reflections, with its floral notes and intense and complex aromas, Margherì is a rich and balanced wine on the palate evocating pleasant and harmonious sensations of flavor and freshness.
マストランジェロ農園はバジリカータ州マテーラ県のベルナルダという小さな村にある、１００ヘクタールもの農地を有する大きな農園です。この農園は１８世紀に建てられた“イル・カシーノ”(小さな家) という名のマッセリア (南イタリアに数多く存在する農園領主の館とその領地)を利用して作られており、その屋敷が位置する岬は、南東方面に美しいターラント湾が眼下に広がる圧巻のパノラマを望むことができます。また反対側の北西方面には、果樹園や、樹齢百年は優に超えるオリーブ畑が広がるすばらしい景観が自慢です。
マストランジェロ家の長い歴史を持つ伝統を受けついだ後継者であるジョゼッペ・マストランジェロ氏は、この農園のオリーブ畑で採れる、最高品質のエキストラ・バージン・オリーブオイルの生産に従事してきましたが、この経験を活かし、“持続可能な農業”に開眼し、２００６年、先祖から代々受け継いできた古いブドウ畑に再び命を吹き込むことを決断します。その２年後にはすでに最初のブドウ収穫が行われ、２０１４年にはワイン醸造を開始し、“マルゲリ”ワインが誕生します。１００％マテーラのグレーコ種を用いたマストランジェロ家初のワインです。マストランジェロ家のブドウ畑は化学肥料を一切使用しない完全有機栽培農法に則り、自然のサイクルを最大限に尊重したブドウづくりを行っています。また、マストランジェロ家のワイナリーは、ワイン醸造法に基づく薬品のみを使用し、EUによって認定された製造工程を踏襲し、ワイン製造に取り組んでいます。
“テゾーリ・ディ・イタリア”ゴールド・コレクションにセレクトされているマストランジェロ家のワイナリー初のワイン、“マルゲリ”はバジリカータ州の推奨するPIF プロジェクト(ルカーニア地方の産業促進プロジェクト) の援助を受け開発された、マテーラ・グレーコ種を使用したワインです。このマテーラ・グレーコ種はマテーラのワイン生産者保護協会によって認定されたDOC (統制原産地呼称)の認証を受けています。
淡黄色から黄金色に変わる黄色のグラデーションが美しいワイン、“マルゲリ”は、フルーティかつフローラルな芳醇な香りが口の中に広がる、風味豊かでさわやかなバランスのとれたワインです。
